Rinehart Bryant Cuts the Ribbon on Its Spotsylvania Family Law Office

A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Fredericksburg Area Chamber of Commerce to mark the one-year anniversary of Rinehart Bryant's Spotsylvania location.

When we opened our Spotsylvania family law office last year, we got straight to work. There was a real need for family law services in Spotsylvania County, and the families who walked through our doors needed help right away. So we skipped the celebration and got down to business.

A year later, with the office firmly established and our roots in the community a little deeper, we figured it was finally time to do this properly. On May 8, 2026, the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce joined us at our Spotsylvania office for an official ribbon cutting.

It was a great morning.

Why Spotsylvania, A Year Later

We opened the second office in Spotsylvania because families in Spotsylvania County and the City of Fredericksburg deserved a family law firm close to home. The drive up to our Stafford office was manageable for some. For others, it was just enough friction to put off getting the legal help they needed.

A year in, the office has done exactly what we hoped it would. We’ve helped Spotsylvania families through divorces, custody disputes, support matters, property division, and protective orders. Our attorneys appear regularly in the Spotsylvania County Circuit Court, which is just down the road from our Courthouse Road office. That proximity matters more than people realize. Knowing the judges, the clerks, the rhythms of a specific courthouse, those are real advantages we can pass on to our clients.

A Few People We Want to Thank

A ribbon cutting takes more hands than you might think. We owe some specific thank-yous:

Gretchen and Wendy at the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce. They put the whole event together, from the logistics to the ceremony itself. The Chamber has been a wonderful partner since we joined, and this event was just the latest example of how much they do for member businesses in the region.

Emily Link, our office manager. Emily handled everything on our end, which is to say everything that actually keeps a small firm running on a day like this. We are very lucky to have her.

Pattycakes and Cookies. They made beautiful custom cookies with our firm logo, and they were as delicious as they were pretty. If you have a celebration coming up, we cannot recommend them enough. Support your local small bakers.

And of course, thank you to our team and the friends, clients, and community members who came out to celebrate with us. A year ago we set up shop in Spotsylvania quietly. This morning, we got to do it loudly, surrounded by people who matter to us.
